You say you know me, but you don’t,
Accusations fly, but I won’t.
I try to share what’s deep inside,
My wants and needs, I can’t hide.
You never wanna talk ‘bout me,
What really matters, can’t you see?
I hear you out, but sometimes I fade,
I wanna travel, see the world I crave.
Every day feels like a fight,
I’m searching for my own life
You keep your walls, I’m breaking mine
There’s so much more that I wanna be.
You never wanna talk ‘bout me,
What really matters, can’t you see?
I hear you out, but sometimes I fade,
I wanna travel, see the world I crave.
Eventually, I’m gonna take flight,
Float in the clouds, chase that light.
With every step, I’ll find my time
Leaving behind what holds me down
You never wanna talk ‘bout me,
What really matters, can’t you see?
I hear you out, but sometimes I fade,
I wanna travel, see the world I crave.
So here I am, I’m breaking through,
Finding my voice, it’s long overdue.
I’ll spread my wings and soar so high,
In the clouds, I’ll learn to fly.

This poem carries with it a feeling of oppressive sheltering and the urge to break free and be oneself. Nicely written it could well be a song with the chorus .
It definitely is a song 🎵😌 I seem to Start writing more music than poetry itself lately. I did however sell some of my music so far! Which Im very proudly happy about it! Thank you so much !
Congratulations that is most impressive
Thank you
