To live forever. Isn’t that what everyone wants?
Isn’t that what everyone desires? For there to be no more dead; that no longer loved ones will leave this suffering world and go to a different place?
But what is it this world can give them that death cannot gift better? We give them fleeting happiness, momentary love, evanescant things, but never can we give them fulfillment Death can.
He offers peace.
He grants solitude.
He allows us to disappear.
Indeed our grieving is a singularly selfish act. We regret that they are not here to make us happy, or to give us a moment of their depleting time.
The passing of someone is not something to be lamented; it is to be rejoiced.
Their seconds are gone and they’ve finally left. Why would we weep when the dreariness of every day is gone for them?
Pain is gone.
Temptation is gone.
Regret is gone.
And yet, to live forever. Isn’t that what everyone wants?

I love this and ask the same questions, why is death such a bad thing to all, especially if you sit and watch a loved one go through hell to get to death, surely when the pain and suffering is over that's a good thing, nicely written
Exactly! Than, you for your thoughts(:
You are very welcome
So I hear most all people say and billions are spent on attempting to prolong life in pharmaceuticals and medical procedures but I agree with you. I live for quality not quantity. A good write
Thank you!
