The women that saved my life
I saw chris today, she came into my place of work
There she was stood at the till. The women that saved my life the women i haven't seen for nearly two years.
The shock in both our faces was like I could finally breathe again.
She was there
All i ever wanted
The emotions, the needing, the wanting, the safe and secure feeling all back, that small interaction, the pure genuine feeling of safety the comfort
The women that saved my life, the women that listened to me when know one else did, the women that showed me it's okay to feel these kinds of emotions, the women that were there through everything, the women that celebrated my milestones and achievements big or small. The women that made me laugh when I cried, the women that always made sure I got home okay, the women that constantly checked in on me .
back right in front of me
The sign i've always wanted and always craved for
Our paths crossed again. Is there a reason for this?
Why is she here
All those feelings gone just like that, as soon as we say goodbye again, there she goes.
Out the door
When will be the next time i see her
Will i ever see her again
The dull ache in my heart
The feeling of i can't breathe,
My body shaking
My chest is tight
My eyes sting
The knot back in my stomach
there . back at that door again back in that place.
Back to where I said goodbye for the first time.
The women that saved my life. 💐
