Why does economic hardship and geographical stereotypes always add up just to remind me?
To stay in my lane and never look back or question all the problems sneaking up from behind me.
That steal my data to serve a system that builds me up just to weigh me down and confine me.
Why don’t you have anything better to do than to sensor all that I do and mine all inside me?
After it broke me down into all of those little pieces that the system uses so that it can divide me.
In small structured subsets of generalized classifications and categorizations so that it can define me.
How did a system know me better than I knew myself or than the person stuck here beside me?
I want to show you who I am instead of this appearance that the system uses just to disguise me.
I want to be more but I can't escape this hypothetical box that I check into so you can hide me.
When I look into a mirror, I become smaller, yet I give so much more the next time you refine me!
I am a product of my environment so I can labor daily for just enough food for it to reenergize me.
Till the end of my lifecycle your system manufactures profit by cutting the costs that supply me.
I pick up all my little pieces for a system to rebuild me just as it sees fit and then multiply me.
Did you look past the fancy new features & focus on raw originality when you recognized me?
To mass produce better models through my R&D, is approach of the marketplace that revised me.
To scrap an old soul & refurbish new purpose just to salvage much value after it jeopardized me.
Do you see a reflection of yourself made by this system that you seen whenever you analyzed me?
Yours truly,

This poem utilizes careful meter in each line to create the rhythm and rhyme as a beat. A beat that to me represents the machine like world that we live in and have created for ourselves. Very nicely crafted
