I learned this
a couple days ago
but some tribes
Go by one word
they feel as if
there is no need to separate
Which I find it interesting
because then it makes me think
about the hierarchy in the West and East
On the other side
i understand the use
of roles in language with labels
Understanding that
helps,
I guess
This is just some information
i wanted to share
and thoughts I was thinking about
One of the first rules
i was taught was
respect your elders
Now I knew my elders
but
what was respect?
Obey everything I was told to do?
don’t speak to what I was being told?
be somewhere when scheduled to be?
Eh I’m late sometimes to things.. anyways
When I try to understand
why certain tribes
would use one word
To describe their
social relationships
I think of
Unity
and I feel
like it’s love
That being said I don’t think I’ll ever know
why or what really that feeling is…
due to not being apart of that culture
Which is ok, but it inspires me.

A wonderful write, enjoyed the read
Arigato gozaimas
A beautiful thought tied into this cultural difference. In native American tribes one's name changed as they grew, often several times. It would change for the quality that they displayed at times in their life. A name to suit the person and their actions.
Soren! As always with the thoughtful responses, I especially love this one because i resonate with that tradition of name changes, shoot I never pick my name to begin with.
Excellent write
T-Dawg thanks!
