Theres a fire burning in his eyes
A passion unrivaled and undesired
His complexity is malignant
Bravery untold
They couldn't see the beauty
Being ripped apart, flayed
Chunks drying in the sun
Laughing and playing
Blood soaked tribal dancing
These creatures show no mercy
Remorseless fun
My friends I will show you
A peaceful mind
Succumbed to the horrors of death
In it's final retreat
A delicate thing to hear
Even worse to eat
So live happy
There are no second chances
Eagles fly above
Freedom within their soul
An entrancing flight
Amazing sight
Still quietly counting the days
Until departures door opens
I'll be on my way
Maybe tomorrow
Might bring sorrows
Old friend the harbor
Where the barnicals cut
Scraping feet
Such a delicate balance
Hardly alive and half dead
We see we need we percieve
Everything is unto me
Lost my sense of life
Ice cold heart
Freezing lines
Pushing through the days
Blinded by the withdrawal of time
Hoping if only to see
One thing happy today
One thing to make it okay
Not me not this way again

The ups and downs of relationships comes through to me in this poem that like waves speaks loudly and softly, powerfully and tenderly. Well done
