Waiting for Romeo

justyouraveragewriter

If this is how Juliet always felt,

waiting for reassurance in a reply,

Romeo, Romeo, the cards you were dealt,

I'll be waiting beneath moonlight

until you're beside me safe and well.

What an apt and beautiful way to describe the waiting in fear for the return for a loved one. May he always return home safe and sound. I enjoyed this poem, very much so.

    Kind regards,
    Tony.

Be not deceived by rumors or views as Juliet was and let life become a tragedy. A beautiful poem of worry and concern for one loved.

Yes, Juliet let her fears absorb her. I tend to write mine out. Thank you 🙂
