The innocence is fatal here

Devender Kumar

A little girls,
Hiding back of her mother,
I saw a fear in those,
Eyes from unknown world,
She has to face one day,
The world where human values,
Are coming to an end day by day,
The world of power,
And her innocence,
The hunger for money,
The corruption eating earth,
And her delicate feelings,
Who will carefore,
Democracies,
A biggest joke I hear,
The innocence is fatal here,
Innocence is searched
And hunted for pleasure,

Here I sense a metaphor behind the mother as well as the literal little girl. The same happens to new nations as to children growing up. Lovely
