Everyday is exactly the same
Every word said in a particular way
I don't know what to do, no
I dont know what to say
I'm falling apart, and
I can't find the will to stay
This is all just one terrible game
Played out on repeat every single day
Try to lift myself up, but
The feelings all remain gray
Try to calm my thoughts, but
I find myself back in the fucking fray
Falling apart
Is there nothing I can do?
I'm falling apart
There is nothing true
Prop up my remains under candlelight
View the desecration of a worthless life
I was on the path of right, but
I must've lost my sight
The road is foggy now, and
My head is filled with burning strife
I'm so tired of this constant fight
Dull out the senses against a pressing knife
I've tried all I can, but
I've lost all semblance of might
If this is all there is, well
Maybe I'll find peace in afterlife
Falling apart
And its hard to see

- Comment from author about the poem: So, this poem! I actually made this poem while I am doing pretty well mentally, ironic enough. I actually had inspiration to make this poem on part thanks to a song by Nine Inch Nails called \\\"She\\\'s Gone Away\\\". I wanted to imitate the structure and mood from that song to this poem. I believe if you were to listen to that song and imagine the instrumentals with this poem, you might find that they fit, or atleast they do to me. That said, I did make this poem personal to me. It was cathartic to write this out, even if I am not really in a place mentally where I could say this poem would be a 10/10 representation of what I was currently feeling while making it. Despite all that, I am really happy how this poem came to be. I think its one of my finer works, truth be told. Good stuff there :)
