Hey now take a ride with me
A double blind test
Moving through time
You see
Soul mates want to
Understand
And feel
What you feel
And they can’t
So they cry and die
And that’s the end
But wait
What if we could
Return and do it all over again
But this time switch
And I can see through your eyes
And then we talk about it
Third time around
And then when I say
I understand
I really mean it
Would you take that ride with me?
Re do our lives
Life it again
But instead be me?
Would you pick me?
Would we be together still?
If that’s a reason for self love
Then I’ll take it
Anything for you
To return to me
Don’t leave me hanging
But it’s a tried and true test
And you do it
Without knowing it
That’s the double blind part
Otherwise you’re aware
And it all falls apart
Maybe I do these things
Because I’m forced to
So you understand
What it’s like to be hurt
Abused
Maybe You’re too sensitive sometimes
And I need to feel the embarrassment
You felt the first time
What loop is this
Feels like attempt 306
But wait, it’s ok
There’s a better way
Just accept me
And I’ll do the same
Shake my hand
Take my hand
To a lovely new land
Where your smile
Is genuine and for
The first time
I love you
Thanks for trying that ride
Let’s talk about it
I’m ready
I respect you
And love you
Sorry I don’t mean to want to change you
You don’t understand me
Because this language
Is rudimentary
I don’t understand you
Because you’re busy too
But I’m not
Not really
Just waiting for you
To leave finally
Makes it easy to
Not do anything
Just waiting
And there’s no way
You want to be with me
Give me that pipe
Let me believe
I’m worth any of it
Thank you for
Your time and I know
I’m blessed
Bc you’re in my life

A most interesting poem of love and the question of it were to all be done again would your loved one make the same choices. A great thought that talks of what love really is in full disclosure. Very nice
