Bones in a sac

Maplespal

Bones in a sac

Spinally stuck with bones in a sac,
memory looking never forward only back.
Time's stuck moving ahead on its stringed tracks,
outwardly pressured with stained weathered cracks.
Humanity is trapped, chained beaten and whacked,
the odds of survival against us they're stacked.
They say stronger together, stronger in packs,
we're still spinally stuck we're bones in a sac.

Indeed I would agree in comparison to the others. A creative and interesting use of words to frame this poem that speaks to us in many ways. Physically, mentally, psychologically, socially and spiritually. There are many paths to pursue in this poem. A great metaphor and well written
