"The sky is GREEN", they said;
"Not blue, not red."
They came in with a barrage
Of scientists, a montage
Of pictures and movies and quotes,
Everything remade in order to show
That what we think is true, is uncouth.
"The sky is green, green as the grass;
If you think it's not, then you're an-"
Their wires must crossed, thought I;
Their blue must be green,
and their green must be blue.
So I held a green apple up to the sky.
What color is this fruit?
"The color is green."
So I pointed to a painted scene;
Sky-blue exactly; held it up to the sky;
Are these the same color?
"nope."
"you're wrong," said I,
But no one listened from the throng.
Is there no hope?
If the whole world thinks one thing, and I another,
Then I must be insane; what reason could there be any other?
That I see what no one else does, this makes me wrong;
I should just shut up and play along.
So they painted the planes all blue to stand out from the "green" sky
So they blamed the pilots who flew and crashed into the other guy
And still did they deny the so-called lie
That blue is as blue as is the blue-sky.

Different points of view that will never agree. We are all different in perceptions and over this we argue. Good write.
Indeed, telling the truth is crazy in a world full of lies. Beautiful analogy and write
