Love Remains In Me

sunshine777

When a man loves a woman

He does not make her live in fear

For him to truly love her

He must first love himself

Only if you believe

You will achieve

Keep your faith

You will be blessed

Your living a lie

When you believe love leaves you with less

Even though complicated

True love is there

Showing compassion even in all of your mess

If you are in fear of the man who says I love you

I pray you run

A real man won't leave you hiding

He takes care of his woman

No matter what

Always believing in each other

My heart still feels love

In all the stomping and tearing apart

I am a warrior

Love Remains In Me

To love oneself first before one can love another makes total sense to me and is expressed well in this poem

Thank you. I learned this lesson the hard way. Often we try to love too soon and end up heartbroken. Then we need to heal and learn to love ourselves anyway. Be nice if we were all taught this first

Keep the faith! Surely our greatest test?
