Promise of forever

Pukur

There are the two small girls with their hands intertwined,

Making promises of forever, each true and kind,

With pure innocence in their blissful mind,

For the world they believe is as good as they find.

There are those two best friends still never apart,

Keeping the promises they made, years before, in the heart.

They share their lunch and their homework together,

For life gets a little easier when you have one another.

Smiling at the camera, there stand the two girls,

Having fun and laughing at the flight of their curls,

Happiness dawns on them as they remember their childhood,

Their eyes brimming with tears at their cute interludes,

They still keep the promises they made with their heart,

Never ever finding a way apart.
