Poeticist

Libellule

I am far more than what I write
these lone salutations in the night
which fill up page after page
a script on which to build every stage

Beyond an obsession with rhyme
I seek to always fulfill my time
with sharing what lies here inside
a truth much truer than any tide

Feeling the flow of all this ink
never worried that I will ever sink
below the surface of each poem
as once again I seek to just roam

Let the words bring me along
ever closer to the place I belong
where I can finally find my peace
unfolding every tightly folded crease

Until at last the lines emerge
as I feel this energy now resurge
revel in this realm I cannot resist

forever an eternal poeticist

A very nice write of the energy driving the poet in their search for expression of the e=internal and external. Nicely written
