Notice of absence from Qurrathul Ain
I'm taking a break for a while, for no specific reason. Maybe because, I don't get as much inspirations as I used to.
I'm taking a break for a while, for no specific reason. Maybe because, I don't get as much inspirations as I used to.
Oh, Kashmir you're so full of beauty!
My heart aches to look at you even from far away,
But really, everything that's beautiful
Tends to be a prey to danger.
Even after all these tragedies,
That has happened over you,
You still have abundant love and happiness to give.

- Comment from author about the poem: Let's pray for our brothers and sisters who happen to be a victim of the massive human-made disaster in Pahalgam-Kashmir. Let's pray that they get justice both in this life and an even better one in the hereafter. I pray that they find peace, the ability and the strength to cope and face the reality. Islam does not encourage terrorism or killing of innocent lives in anyway. Infact, it is against its beliefs. Our Lord in Quran states that: (17:33) "And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden.."(5:32)"..whoever kills a soul, except for a just cause like retribution for murder or for corruption on earth, is as if he has slain all mankind. Conversely, whoever saves a life is as if he has saved all mankind."

A beautiful tribute. It is so easy to lump all evil into one group, black or white, of my religion or not, man or woman we are all human.
We are all human and we must co-exist, which is only possible when humanity matters and prevails over the rest. Thank you for stopping by.
Already on going Israel Palestinians war, Ukraine Russia war is making our earth and humanity suffer we don't want another such situations
Let us pray and hope all settle down peacefully and everyone gets justice
Exactly. That and, standing up and voicing out for what is right is all we can do for now. That makes a huge difference.
