As an outcast,
I’ve learned to outlast,
Remember—
Never tethered to—
My past
From which I’m cast,
Though never outclassed.
Gone through a fast,
Came out with flying colors—
I fucking passed—
Despite doubters amassed.
You know what?
I had a goddamned blast.
Christ! I know!
How long will this last?
Go ahead, cast me out.
I’m used to that
As an outcast,
But know this:
You can cast me out,
Yet, without any doubt,
No matter how much you pout,
I won’t be counted out.

A strong poem of grit and determination, perseverance and toughness. The continued reoccurring line rhymes gave the added impression of perseverance. Nicely done Tristan

In olden days, if not liking someone, they would say 'Out with him / her!'
Yes, indeed! I know/remember the phrase! "Out with 'so and so"!" Indeed. I wonder why that phrase rings so familiar in my ears...? ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คฃ Thanks Orchi! I always look forward to what you have to offer, my friend! You are truly appreciated! ๐ฅ๐ถ๏ธ๐ข๐
