Wait for me

mya

Some one day,
I'm gonna go,
To where—
I don't yet know.

I say I
shall go to venus,
but honestly—
and between us—

I have no
planned destination
no shelter—
no final sedation.

Since there, time
doesn't go by as fast,
I would consider her.
Maybe— at last,

I will succumb
to my own womb,
and accept it
as a home— not a tomb.

Some one day,
I won't feel utterly
alone in this,
intertwined arms— so motherly.

Venus, please,
nurture me with love.
It hasn't been safe here—
beyond, under, and above.

What a magnificent start to this poem. It leaves that feeling of wanting to go but not sure where and the carefree feel of it not being all that important at the moment. A most lovely poem
