That might be alarming

What someone said

And how its harmful to me

Something I did

That wasn't so charming

Things that they've said are

Suddenly swarming

I'm losing sight

I'm losing touch

I have tried to fight

But end up with all these inner cuts

Inner cuts are like outer wounds

Which hurts more, I don't have a clue

All these little things that matter too much

Seem to confuse me

That I might lose sleep

Over such simple things

They said it'll be okay

I wish I could listen when they say

That i should take a moment to remind myself

Take a moment and find myself

“Take a moment to ask yourself

If this is how you fall apart”

But it's not

I just thought…

It's not as easy as people make it seem

At least not for people like me

I just get so overwhelmed at the slightest things

They say

It's okay

You've got nothing to fear

I'm here

Here comes a thought

That might alarm you

But it's just the truth

The truth can be hard

And the things that I've said are

Suddenly swarming

The things that I say

Are not calming

The things in my brain

May be alarming

I'm not okay

But it's not

It's what I believe

That it's not as easy
