Apple blossoms wane
Cherry blossoms gain
Dandelions remain
Sprayed with death they scoff.
Seems it only pissed them off.

Well wirtten ,Yet so true,Your poem ,revolves around different types of flowers (apple, cherry, and dandelions) and their responses to environmental pressures, specifically referencing the use of pesticides ("sprayed with death") and the idea that nature can be resilient in the face of destruction.
Thanks for the read, Friendship. And the high praise.
A most fun read with which I can identify. Why is it that only the plants you want to keep die from the herbicide? It seems that the weeds find it a fertilizer.
Thanks, SB. The apple and cherry trees in the poem do not bear fruit just blossoms.
lol don't you just hate that feeling. 🌹
I love dandelions - they were a delight as a kid blowing the seeds, and if I had the room, I'd grow pesticide free dandelions as the main constituent of my next health giving cuppa - move over chamomile. Still, as you say Jerry - plenty of fight in 'em yet.
Thanks, Dave. I do too bright little yellow spot. They make a tasty wine as well.
