Boom

sunshine777

When she left his house

He tried his hardest to make every promise come true

Not putting even one of his faults in the spotlight

No one knows about the gun to her head

Much less the abuse she bled

Who else heard the words he said

Saw the nightmare she finally fled?

He tried his hardest to make every promise come true

Boom

No compassion for what he would put his children through

He aimed for them to hate her

For them to carry the weight of his pain

Failing to recognize

Destroying his children's mother

Was putting a loaded gun to their brain

Boom

Harsh, dark, brutal, sad. A poem too real to be ignored. Well done

Thank u. Too ignore these things does no good either. It's a harsh world from all different angles. Yet so much beauty
