Raven

Mourgana of the Fey

O luminous light of purification

the raven within mine heart

lay afloat upon sunset

nine ripples open

into Venusian vines

garlands given

I am the siren

beholding no one

only mys soul

alone these lavender hems

fade into dark blue knowing

wither now into cosmic cologne

this nocturnal flight

begins

So many symbols in this poem the raven of wisdom straight from Odin's shoulder. Nine number of completion, reinforced by a sunset close of day, Venusian vines growth of love reinforced with siren seduction and the colors of tranquility turned to loyalty. Well done

Seriously beautiful, Rian. You have a way of weaving together scene and setting so seamlessly that they become living metaphors for your entire point. Well done. I am a fan. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฆโ€โฌ›

Thank you much Tristan, and if you say the metaphor has come to life, well thats also part of how I write. To fully awaken these visions. This is part of a song lyric I once wrote I have changed it, am working on different versions of it. Enjoy your day my friend!
