The Evening rain

Reynaldo Casison

The Evening rain Is short

The Moonlit Sky Is Tall

You darling Exotic woman

Are Short yet Exquisitely tall

Your Beauty seems to be

Always on the ball

Whenever like rain you sing

Whenever like sunflowers and roses

You dance

The Evening rain Is short

The romance of our Loves sky Is tall

Our sweet bliss and sadness

Is short yet poignantly tall

A Rose sigh Is beautifully short

Yet voluptuously high

The difference between a tear

And a sigh

Is one is damp like sweet rain

And one is warm like tender bonfires

And you at your most exquisite

Are both a tear and a sigh

While The Evening rain Is Short

The Luminous vineyard Sky Is Tall

Love is a paradox, an enigma, a conundrum a most lovely poem that comes in waves with each similar chorus as emotions do. Nicely done
