Something without name

Victor Bolshov

For love. For gold. For glory.
For something without name
From an unwritten story -
We fight. We die. We reign.

Endeavor to the endings
Of everything that’s real,
Where elementary wavelings
Dualities reveal.

You be the one. Continue
To dig the known. No shame.
It’s hiding something - so new
It doesn’t yet have name.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I studied Materials Science / Nuclear Physics (a looong time ago). There was time when I was going to become a scientist, I even had enough published articles as co-author, and enough research results, for a PhD (not exactly, because it was in Russia, but a similar degree recognizable in EU/US as a PhD).

A lovely poem that opens understanding by unwrapping enigmas that yet have no name. Very nicely written
