And when the earth becomes all dead, decayed
And when the sea is dry as dust, unmade
And when the sky is dark in shade all day
We'll turn to the stars to find our way.
Until that day, we’ll seek the way and find
A balm to ease the worried crease of mind
In peaceful prayers and selfless acts so kind;
We'll always have hope to light the way.
Before the world is lost entire, on fire
Before descending straight to hell, in mire
A chance, redemption giv’n; so we’ll aspire
To gather our hope and find the way.

- Comment from author about the poem: In every age, the end of the world has been prophesied by almost every major religion as well as several cults, and many people panic that natural and societal disasters are signs that the end of the world is imminent and unavoidable. I believe that there's always hope for redemption, and even when there's inevitable destruction in the form of mass extinctions or civilizations collapsing, new life eventually emerges from the ashes and it is not gone forever.

A great rhyme scheme to emphasize the the message in this poem making it the dramatic. Nicely done
