The fear of lost

lostinescapism

I woke up in the middle of the night

and entered in the bath quietly,

seeing a motionless body

I suddenly asked if it’s all right.

She hadn’t nothing to add,

though I can’t except the death

of one who has become my friend,

so I froze and held my breath.

The whole world fleshed

before my eyes…

The worst thoughts surfaced

I can’t get rid of them likewise.

I touched her, she woke up.

I was shocked after my checkup

she only yelled instead:

go right now to the bed!

Somnambulism I assume. A most interesting write. Well done with rhyme.
