You gifted me with your love.
That I know now came from above.
Why me? Unworthy of even a notice.
With love so ferocious.
I denied you willingly.
Yet you chased me continually.
I embraced the sin of your enemy.
And at my worst you assured me I was still your tendency.
To always have a trace of your love within my heart.
So that even I could re-start.
A journey to peace, and the pain I cause to cease.
Knowing that I am pitiful man.
With scars on my hands.
As I wear tear-stained shirts.
That even I may stop the hurt…
If I…would listen to your beckoning call
So, I could be your all.
To somehow be loved.
By not a father that discarded me…
But by one who truly needs me.
To be…
His.
So, as I see me in them…I can…accompany their walk to Him…
So, they like me…can begin…to be Born Again.

A lovely write of love and devotion. Very nice.
'So as I see me in them', says it all in this declaration of love and repentance. Excellent!
Kind regards,
Tony.
