Unnamed Passage

Sunshinefalling

If I had a garden statuette of myself, I could stare at for a year and just ask “Who are you?”’

I imagined the fact that I spend my life trapped in an inner world as much as possible that it would help me see what I really look. A philosophical quest to view myself.

While under the sun, I began to have a very intense vision.

I saw an eye in colors run and orange. It was my eye surrounded by mystique. It drew me in and entranced me.

It’s beautiful I thought. Engrained in love. Drawing me further I saw an immense power in it. I had to look away.

I wish I would have stared longer. I pride my self on mental strength, but for this one thing I was terrified. The blinding power of my soul had overwhelmed me and I refused to look at myself. Just as I always do awashed in duality.

A poem of recognition of self power and worth. Nicely done

This duality principale is so intriguing and fascinating ...
Am I the reflection of this other self ?

    • Sunshinefalling

We are all a reflection of ourself and each other. This was me seeking to see my outer self and instead realizing that I am both strength and afraid. A metaphor for the duality of self and self perception.
