Not A Real Goodbye

Abby Rose Wise88

Notice of absence from Abby Rose Wise88
I sometimes won't be on because of school.

Death is hate.

While life is like sky.

So let's not fate.

It's not worth a goodbye.

Death is a lie.

While life is real.

Let's not lie around to die.

Let us get real and feel.

Life is a way to fly.

So let's take a look.

At what we can do.

And fish with a hook.

We have a few.

Let's play in the nook.

Death is an illusion.

While home is real.

It's like a fusion.

So we got to feel.

Then I came up with an conclusion.

That life is like teal.

And Death is not real.

So don't say goodbye.

We will see eachother again.

We will fly high.

And make a bargain.

No more goodbyes.

Just see you soons.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this when I didn't want to believe that my cousin died. This is my reflection from my Point Of View about death. My cousin and I would always say see you soon because saying goodbye will mean that we won't see each other for eternity. I believe and hope that I'll see him in the afterlife.
