- Comment from author about the poem: (physician heal thyself first)\r\n---------------\r\n\r\n*suspect: untrustworthy due not to a lack of ethics or good practices (according to the current rules of a system), but due to a lack of a good enough system or heart that can actually be trusted. i.e. love of another as oneself, when ones self is taken to mean: the highest forms of good or ethics, not a human system too low in thinking and or too enamored by profits to be able to become the highest trusted kind of people (example: what would Jesus do? 1. feed those who come? 2. listen, visit? 3. teach, preach holy words? 4. pray?\r\n\r\n---------------\r\n\r\nphysician\r\n/fĭ-zĭsh′ən/\r\n\r\nnoun\r\n2. Powerful work.
thanks. hope the comment from author helps. this is about mental hospitals.
A most creative poem that speaks to more of us than those with severe problems. Very nicely done
thanks. I wrote without the added words in parentheses first and was wanting to add three words afterwards. I think I had others originally but forgot them... so ended up being like this. 🙂
Wow. Powerful, profound, purposeful. This poem hits hard and, I agree with Soren, this is much relevant to far more than those with "severe" issues. Well done! 🌹👏
thanks for your kind comment. I'm not sure how many people poems here will reach but I guess if it helps anyone that could be good.
Indeed. That is how I view it, at least, and why I share mine. You are most welcome, my friend.
