Farmers, till the Fields.
Millers, forge the steel.
Miners, mine the coal,
and workers, manufacture the automobiles.
... but it doesn't stop there.
Regular person, open small businesses,
and small businesses, thrive.
You're guaranteed to reap what you sow,
if you work hard and strive.
To the children in the worse neighborhoods;
work hard and take your licks,
and you can go from brick buildings,
to a two-story house made of bricks.
If you want; get yourself an education.
If you want; learn a trade.
Then go on to do something great.
That is how you live the American Dream.
That is how you are American made.

Encouragement is needed and this poem is part of that. Changing one's life style is hard and requires a dream. Nice poem
Great write
Great piece Dion ,
It’s true , but my question is how hard do we have to work and for how long to get to this beautifully descripted place ? I know it’s true , but man is it a long road
I work 7 days a week but am only spinning my wheels
It could be alot worse. Alot of people can't work for whatever reason. Personally, I enjoy working, and there is always some sort of accomplishment, or else you wouldn't be working at all.
You know that I love working as well ,
It’s just too much and taking a toll on my body and mind ,
Sometimes I wonder if the stress is worth it , but then remember that there’s a time and season for everything and it will be all worth it in the end
