The moon without a sun

Poems_From_Emotions

The clouds steal the sun's shine, once they have it, they run for the tide.

Only the moon keeps the shine to spread it across the night.

I can't lie seems like a custom held tight.

So, tell me am I the sun or am I the moon no one knows the truth.

We may not be the moon nor sun, but we live lives defined by none.

love is strong an immense,

They will see this love that glistens and glows, past the stars and cosmos to a place we only know.

A forgotten universe created for us, but the worlds are cracked and crumbling into dust,

Yet it doesn't matter I'll wait, for the day my sun returns to revive this broken place.

Full of metaphoric wisdom and questions of a deep nature with vivid images to tease the mind. Very nicely written a most wonderful piece.
