Fishcakes For Tea

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

You can buy them with just a bit of money,

Fishcakes for tea to fill up the human tummy.

Coming in all sorts of flavours, one is lemon,

I want to taste all of them under the Sun.

You can eat with chips, salad or anything,

This isn't Harry Potter, I'm not JK Rowling.

The real magic is hidden inside healthy food,

Not promoting witchcraft, don't get it misconstrued.

I always over read metaphor into writing and here healthy food equates to healthy reading of poems and healthy relationships. I too want to taste all the flavors. Lovely
