Sun

Ajon4wheels

Take me with you, anywhere but here

Then I will be happy and free at last

In your other beautiful and wonderful world

You are going tonight, again

A phenomenal smile, pasted on my face

Hiding my pain. A slow tear escaped off my lashes

The streams unraveling down my cold cheeks

They are following the old standard paths

I spread my frozen hand on the windowpane

In disbelief, my hurting and throbbing heart

At the fact you left me again

Alone. In this cold and pointless world

My body is shaking by the hurt

Yet again, my bloody heart breaks

Although the pain is unbearable

Each day, I sit at the same old window

Hoping the sun takes me tomorrow

Out of my pain...

Themes of the past and the expected flow through this poem of pain that is still expected and prayed to end. Sad and painful
