Here are some things I do not need
So from my goals I do not roam:
I do not need goodnight texts
I do not need calls
I do not need my phone at all
I do not need this music
I do not need these useless podcasts
I do not need my headphones
I do not need to these poems
I do not need these rhymes
I do not need to be on time
I do not need to drive
I do not need to work all day
I do not need to make connections
I do not need video games
I do not need board games
I do not need to play
I do not need sugar
I do not need processed foods
I do not need the carbs
I do not need more money
I do not need more fame
I do not need to hear my name on stage
I do not need to sing
I do not need to dance
I do not need romance
I do not need lovers
I do not need friends
I do not need pets
So I cleanse myself of all non-necessities
And now I am alone
But upon observing all the life around me
Does it even need my own?

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem really emphasizes how it feels when I feel I'm too much of a burden to people. I tell myself I don't need anyone or distractions, but I often think of what life would be like if I didn't have all of those things.

Never felt better than when I got rid of all I didn't need. Everything but cloths, house, food, and dishes. A great message and nicely done
