The Honest Liberation

mtrotter1

I've erased you from my mind accidentally

The craziness doesn't even feel the same anymore

I let go of the clouds

I let go of the sun

For they were both blinding my judgment

But the bedroom brawl in my head still exists

With your name written all over these walls

And I touch the rose that you left

So many years ago

And I wish you well

For we'll never see each other again

In this life...

Well maybe in another life

You and I will come together again

And maybe we can smell the sweet roses

In the valley

And maybe we can fly a kite

All the way to Texas

But right now

We are over and done with

At least I can kiss you goodbye.
