Trapped

Caring dove

Trapped

stuck in one place

wants to fly with confidence

have wings

be like a butterfly

but feels stuck in life

lacking the confidence to go to places she wishes

stuck

sighing

wishing for confidence

but struggling in the mind

so lacks

what some others

may take for granted

just wanting to feel normal

just wanting to feel confident

The mind is the cocoon from which butterflies of confidence metamorphosize and emerge with wings to fly. A lovely write

Sorry you are feeling this way, Caring Dove. A haunting poem, hope seen but not able to be grasped. It reminds me of the King who built the Taj Mahal. Before it could be finished, he was arrested by his son and put under house arrest. He was put in a room he could not leave, and the window view he had was of the Taj Mahal. Within view, but unreachable...only able to see from a distance the tomb of his love. Not sure why this reminded me of that. I guess because there is a tragic nature to being trapped, able to see what you long for, but never being able to obtain/attain it. A powerful write, friend. Keeping you in my prayers. 🌹👏❤️‍🩹

Good read. At times we all feel stuck but helping others will help to get us unstuck.
