Let's Go Back

Paul Gerard Reed

Let's get back

To what we used to be

Let's open the door again

And set ourselves free;

Let's go back

To what we used to do

See our friends again

Under skies of blue;

The world hid for a while

But it didn't go away

Let's run and jump and skip

Let's go out to play;

The world might have changed

But some things stay the same

Let's get back out there

And once more play the game.
