Water and Sun

rrodriguez

When I was a boy
I ran the dusty road without shoes
I swam in the river without clothes
I felt the forest without walls
I lived without worries at all
I enjoyed floating in the river
And basking in the Caribbean sun
I felt it even in my bones
I found a little frog called Coqui
And I knew I was home.

Ah those days gone by and those memories that still linger. A lovely poem of what was once home and maybe still is.

Yes, it's still Home. Now the escapades are driving around the island. It's wonderful to explore, although now it's more subdued than when I was a boy.

The freedom of being young and able to wonder and explore, enjoyed the read

We had our childhood frogs as well; Kermit could never hope to compete🙏🏻🕊️
