I don't wanna die

Poetic_Carm

I dont wanna die

I wanna live a prosperous life

A joy filled life

A life full of so many good days you would think hell froze over and evil has vanished and good is free

I dont wanna die

I dont wanna walk down the street

And see another human die

I wanna walk down the street and not worry if im gonna be that human

I wanna walk down the street and hug other humans

And be safe when i walk down that street like i am human

Maybe the street of my own mind

I dont wanna die

I wanna be happy

I wanna be free of mental damage

I wanna take control of my own mind

I wanna take control of MY yes and MY no

I dont wanna die

I dont wanna be suffocated by the waste in the air

I wanna breath

I wanna know what fresh air smells like

What it tastes like

And what it sounds like

I dont wanna die

I wanna be free

I wanna dance

In the warmth of love

I wanna find love

I wanna find love and grow old with it

until its time

Till death do us part right?

But i dont wanna die

But if i have a choice

A moment of your time

Either with my voice or this rhyme

If i could hold your attention

And keep it close

I want you to listen

I need you to please open your mind

Because

I. dont.

want. To.

die.

A poem about the desire for life but also freedom. Sometimes its hard to balance freedom of life with safety of that life. Good poem 😄🌹
