Are our lives like Matrix codes?

Immigrants coming over on boats.

060525, what a time to feel this vibe,

How many genuine, who connive?

Professor X has the X-Men,

My brain is like Big Ben.

Ticking continuously,

Kicking legs, Bruce Lee.

Without music my rhymes still coda,

On the peak of the new world order,

Never appealed to be a government soldier.

Someone had an annoying habit of adding up the digits in the dates in this format. In this case it would be 060525 = 6+5+2+5=18. Dunno why they did it. Maybe spooked if it totalled 13 any day?! But it can never total as much as 66 - phew! Argh - and not 666. LOL.
Hadn't the person anything better to do? It's rather 'sad' he did this. heehee. The highest it can be this year is 290925 = 27. Months such as the 10th month of October are taken separately, as 1 + 0, not 10 (ten). Will I stop talking rubbish now?!

Wow, my brain is on fire right now lol.

Here ends the Maths lesson. But don't be 'sad' as in 'saddo' and calculate those digits every day! lol.

Discontent with the status quo in this piece. And who isn't or even wasn't in the past. A wonderfully stated sentiment

Bruce Lee was an immigrant who came over in a boat who benefited from birthright citizenship. A benefit, I for one, am glad was afforded to him and countless others who have been born here. What's more, he learned and detested just how "welcoming" America is to immigrants. Fun fact. As for being a government soldier. A-friggin'-men. Never appealed to me either. Love the X-Men/Prof X reference. Love the Bruce Lee reference. I own the Tao of Jeet Kun Do and every film. What a brilliant human being. Love the last three lines, which close this defiant poem so very well. 🌹👏

Oh yeah I agree, yes indeed. Oh so he didn't like others coming over too? Someone got angry about my government solider line on another poetry site so I just blocked them lol. Cheers, I watched Enter The Dragon again the other day.

No, he did not have any problem with immigrants. He was one and he didn't appreciate how he was treated as one. He was, in essence, a U.S. Citizen, but was treated like he wasn't because he was Chinese. Dragon, The Bruce Lee Story does an excellent job showing his struggles as a Chinese immigrant. He was born in America because his parents were actors on tour in America when he was born. He lived and grew up in China. He left China, came to America, but was looked at as Chinese, of course. This is America's history with non-white immigrants from the beginning (and Italians were once not considered "white" here at one time...true story). Lee's whole career was spent trying to show the West the beauty of the East and Eastern philosophy.

Enter the Dragon, is such an amazing film, and was his major American breakthrough. Kung Fu, the TV series, was his concept. Hollywood stole it and put David Carradine as the star, because Lee was "too Asian". So he struggled to make it in America, hence why all but one of his films are Chinese. The film also really shows the philosophical side of him, along with his martial arts prowess. Phenomenal guy for sure.

And yeah, if someone can't handle your art, why should you handle them? LOL! Cheers, my friend. Hope your Saturday rocks!
