This thing we call life, who can say they’ve squeezed every last drop of sunshine from this husk we all wear
Shine your light upon
The world and be a radiant beacon to those still living buried in the blackness of their own pain
It’s said we are but moments of sunshine
Casting shadows
no deeper than footprints in the sand
It’s sad we are but moments of sunshine but even a moment of pure light shines through the darkness like a beacon calling me home
But only then does one realize that one meaning in life is lifting others up from the abyss so they can find their light and then share it with those still
Living in shadow
Be the sunshine
Cast down
The shadow
Lift someone up
And help them
Find their light
