We're the same
but made of different fog
We touch each other with borrowed gestures
as if love were
a bottomless chest
left on the sidewalk
full of keys
without doors
We guard each other with forgetfulness
and we keep each other
like coins
that are of no use in this world.

Great lines in this poem that like an arrow to the heart meet their mark. The whole last stanza was marvelous. A definite Fave

Thank you so much,Mister, for your kind words. I\'m glad they touched your emotions. My heart tied to my tongue betrays me between the words. Best regards.
