A Craze, Not a Dream

Salvia.S

How will you desire a star,

Standing upon a mountain?

You already know it's really far—

Perhaps it's best not to attain.

But the eyes still gaze,

For that hopeless, distant flame.

It's fit more for a craze

Than a dream without a name.

The metaphor in this poem is so deep. It reflects wishes beyond our reach yet calls to us in dreams that we know can't be fulfilled but are still yearned for and in that craze we live our lives. A definite fave
