I may lose my mind
lose my heart
and lose my soul
I may lose my sight
lose my sense
and forget my goals
I may,
forget all
forgive all
but never play blind any more
or do it into thy power
and lose it all
I may forget properties or assets
artefacts or objects
I may even trade my prospects
But may I never forget mine enemy
His venom in my heart
His hurts down in my spine
for shadows and images
I should differ
fables and comedies
I should know better
some are polished
others are genuine
some are make ups
just trying to renew
it hurts!
when its nothing but pretence
and only something when it hurts
But my fore brain
my fore brain keeps it
my hind brain holds it
and my will
says always on always

You are very welcome
A poem of past pain and offense leading to anger and defiance that stands strong. It is powerful and shows a sense of resolve. Nicely written
