What Happens?

GenXer Shamrocker ☘️

When you try to do your best. You give it all you’ve got. Somehow it doesn’t turn out right. You gave it your best shot. You care deeply about other people’s lives. We must remember the gift of free will at all times. No amount of trying to convince another to see things your way. Try as you might. You’re left with no words to say. Reach out for support and maybe a little guidance. Knowing all the while all your left with is silence. I believe Our Heavenly Father’s promise of all things work together for the greater good.  You can’t do this in your own strength; not like He could. So for now you pray and hope those you care for know; that your heart is in the right place even if you get it wrong.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Sometimes, maybe more times than not; you want desperately to help another human being. It’s in those desperate times where all you can do is Trust Him above and pray that everything truly will turn out ok.

Knowing one's limits is critical all through life and this poem speaks of one type. Very nice

It's so. Some people won't be helped, or don't want to be helped. I never help KP of course - well, only with her botox help! 😁

Indeed. Trust and prayer are the keys that gets us and others to hope from the hopeless. Well done, my dear friend! 🌹👏
