Middle Of A Storm

sunshine777

I woke up
In the middle of a storm
A nightmare
Not of my own
Everyone here
Is attacking each other
With endless judgement
And anger
Hating our land
Depleting one another
Our own spirits
With slander

ALK

    Gratitude is out of date
    Self-righteous justification
    On the dinner plate
    Every night!

    Great write.

Reality or dream how does one tell the difference? It does seem to be the present state of mind. A most poignant poem, well done.
