Transcendence

Muse of Calliope

River by river, sea by sea,

Treading the water gracefully-

Fast falls the wintering autumn,

 Strong flows the pouring rain

But through toil and tear,

 Through pride and pain,

We rise to new skies,

Embracing our fate again.
