Sophia

JuneM

She's always bright and shining

Like the constellations against the night sky, but as usual

She's a mess, her points never aligning

And its beautiful

She's been through so much pain

So much loss

And she's stood in the middle of the lightning and rain

But she still wears that smile on face

She's insecure as hell

Somehow, she manages to hide it so well

Its beautiful

I'm going to miss her when I move away

So I just wanted to quickly say

She wants to be perfect so bad

She hates herself and it makes me so sad

Because I wish she could see what I see, that she's not a defect

She's not perfect, but perfectly imperfect

And that's okay

Because I know she's been through so much pain

I know she's seen and tasted the rain

And she's my best friend

The only one who will get me until the end

So when I leave I hope she doesn't cry

I hope she knows she'll never be alone

I hope she sees the sunset and hears my final goodbye

I hope one day she gets what she deserves, her throne

Because no matter matter what she is seen

And she is a beautiful perfectly imperfect
