Give Me Back My Girlhood, It Was Mine First!

Akshadha_Joshi1310

Give me back my girlhood,

It was mine first,

You knew what you were doing,

You weren't misunderstood,

The relationship we hold will always be cursed.

I didn't deserve this ,

And you know it too,

The childhood I could've had is something I miss,

But it's nothing new.

You will never acknowledge or admit,

What you did to me,

You have always just looked for your own profit,

Peace, oh who is she ?

You are what awakens my female rage,

All my life you've put me in a cage.

A cage made of your own selfish wants,

All my life I've listened to your nasty taunts.

Humor for you is mocking me and my interests,

How did you ever think this was just?

Did you not know how it would affect me?

It made me feel like I couldn't be my real self,

Anger is no longer the last on my shelf.

All I ever hope is,

I never become like you,

It's one of my foremost wish,

I hope I can heal and have a perspective anew.

Very touching poem. However, never abandon hope. Clouds have a silver lining.
